A season-long graphics package built around a bold, high-contrast visual language of Raptors red, black and white, oversized condensed typography, monochrome player photography and repeating graphic symbols.
The system had an editorial, poster-like quality, layering cropped imagery, large type and graphic patterns to create energetic compositions that could flex across players, stats and game-day content. As part of MLSE’s motion team, I helped translate that visual language into animation and extend it across the season, which would ultimately become the Raptors’ first NBA Championship year.
